I've been up to the crown of the hill,
Down to the valley floor,
I've gone to so many different places,
And sure of never leaving traces,
But this is the place that I've never known.
Every place was beguiling and true,
They'll stay deep in the heart's core.
But the air here has a charm, very fair,
It's simple, handsome and extremely rare.
And perhaps, another place like this, might never be known.
I've revisited places,
But I've not come here before.
This is where, the change, I've seen
And where, the happiest, I've been
No one will understand, this place is what only I have known.
No, it's not the prettiest place I've visited,
The world has shown one more.
But just followed the road that came my way,
Chanced upon this wonderland, one fine day,
And this is the most precious place that I've ever known.
